Responsibilities:
- Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one of our key banking clients to build domain-centric
- NextGen Credit Card data solution to solve critical business problems and drive strategic growth of our client
- Identify underlying business needs to be addressed, challenge existing practices and ensure requirements will address the defined business problem
- Take a lead in defining business & functional requirements, process models and implementation plans
- Bring perspective and ideas to develop propositions on key themes and contribute to thought leadership
- Explore and examine data from different source systems, Data Lake, Data Warehouse and business partners to find and implement analytical solutions
- Leverage large volumes of diverse data to understand the relationships, rules and usage patterns of data that might impact business results
- Design, develop, and maintain optimal solutions related to data integration and compelling visualizations for business analysis
- Present results and recommendations; craft coherent, crisp messaging from complex, voluminous data and output
- Communicate in clear, fundamental terms to key stakeholders based on analysis of data, identified trends, data insights and action items
- Anticipate issues based on knowledge of banking data trends and propose solutions
- Serve as an expert consultant to internal technical and line of business teams
- Promote data validation goals, ensure accuracy of deliverables, and communicate precisely
Position Requirements:
- Strong credit card domain knowledge is required - a good understanding of payment instruments such as credit card, debit card, prepaid, card ecosystem
- Knowledge of data from card processors, such as, understanding of data related to accounts, applications, transaction auth, fraud, risk, delinquency & collections, etc.
- Experience in Data Warehousing
- Experience using Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata) and ETL tools (Informatica, SSIS, ADF)
- Experience in business analysis, quantitative analytics, data science methods
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques including regression analysis and algorithms for pattern recognition, predictive analytics, anomaly detection and operational analytics
- Organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
